Personal systems

Shared AI memory

A memory system that makes the AI better the longer you work with it — it keeps your context, corrections, and decisions, and reads them before every task.

What it does

A new AI session opens with blank or very little context — it doesn’t know your business, your projects, or how you like things done, and what you explained last week usually has to be explained again. The memory system changes that. As you work, corrections, decisions, and context get captured and organized into memory the AI reads before every task. The longer it runs, the more the AI knows — your rules, your voice, the state of your projects — and the less you repeat yourself.

High-level diagram: corrections, decisions, and facts go into files; every session starts briefed

You teach it once; every session after that starts already briefed

How it works
Corrections get captured as you work. A passing remark mid-task — “stop using that word” — lands as one dated line in an inbox. That is usually the whole job on your side.
A weekly pass organizes the memory. Each remark moves from the inbox into the right note, with the reason attached, so a rule keeps the context it came from.
Every session starts at the index. One page lists what the memory holds and where. The AI reads it first, then pulls the notes the task touches.
Work and personal stay separate. Two memories with a wall between them: work sessions don’t open the personal files, and the other way around.
The memory stays current. A rule that turns out wrong gets corrected or retired instead of piling up.

Example from a run
The system caught a plan built on last quarter’s strategy

The business direction changed mid-year, and older documents still pointed at the old one. The memory holds the chain of what replaced what — so when a new plan drifted back toward a direction that no longer stands, it got flagged instead of built on. Memory here is not just facts: it keeps decisions from quietly coming back undone.
